Problem statement
As we know that in many university campus for instance
University of Malaya, there is no motorcycle workshop or motorcycle repairing
service. A lot of students bring their motorbikes to the campus as their daily
transport, but motorcycles will break down sometimes or tire will be flat
suddenly. When students encounter this kind of situation in the campus, they
have to call the motorcycle mechanics from outside campus to repair their
motorcycle. Thus, those mechanics usually charge higher price to the students
because they need to come personally to the campus to repair the motorbikes. If
mechanics cannot repair motorbikes on the spot, they will bring it back to
their shop. Then, students need to pay for the transportation fee because the
mechanics need to bring back the motorbikes to their shop by lorry. In the end,
students end up paying higher repairing fee. Some students may not have the
ability to pay such high repairing fee.
Furthermore, not only students bring motorcycle to the
campus, staffs who are working in the university will also ride motorbike to
the university. Therefore, if their motorcycles break down suddenly, it will be
a trouble for them because lacking of motorbike workshop in university.

Business idea ( Campus
Motorbike Shop)
Due to the above problem, we come out with an idea
that is to open a motorcycle workshop in university campus. Our motorcycle
workshop will provide many kinds of services such as repairing service,
motorbike wash service, rental motorbike service. Our objective to open the
motorcycle workshop is to bring convenience for the students and staff in
university campus. We will provide quality and quick repairing service because
we know that customer may need to use their motorcycle every day. Thus, our
customer can get beck their motorbikes in a short time. Our motorcycle workshop
also provides door step service. It means when customers call us for repairing
service, we will go to the spot directly. Then, we would not charge our
customer the transportation fee so high, because from our workshop to elsewhere
of university campus is not that far. Thus, our customers would not be charged
of high repairing fee. Another special feature of our motorbike workshop is we
do help our customer to pay the road tax. Due to students are usually busy with
assignments and the university staffs are busy with their work, they do not
have so much time to pay the road tax. Thus, we provide this service for our
customers.


Customer segment
The customer segment building block defines the
different groups of people or organizations an enterprise aims to reach and
serve. Our major customer will be people who bring motorcycle to university
campus. Thus, we have multiple customer groups that are students, staffs and
lecturers in university campus. Students will be our largest customer group
because the number of students brings motorbikes in university campus is
highest compare to staffs and lectures.
